Dukan Diet--Day 25--PP day


This morning, my weight reminded the same as yesterday: 68.8kg.
Somehow, I felt gladful because of the hugh over 1 pound vege and meat mix. This is a really good result out the big dinner I had yesterday.

Today, Mr.X has an training be held at his work place. I was planning to go shopping today so I went there with him and waited him at the lobby.

We went to the Metrotown Metropolic mall for shopping the sauce pan and an coffee cup.

He ended have a nice midium rose-orange color stainless steel cup with the capacity of around 300ml coffee. This is a really good deal comparing to the normal consumption of 1 to 2 cups of coffee at the Starbucks or any coffee shop. We bought the Ethic organic coffee at The Costco half month ago, it was on sale at the time. for 2 pounds of coffee bean it only cost 12 dollars. Even if he drinks 1 huge cup of espresso a day, the beans will last for almost a month. He didn't have a cup which can be carry on with him on his way to work so he always have the cup of coffee at midnight when he backs from his work.

He can go straight to bed after swallowing the 300ml espresso, he is just that wired.


Brunch:
1 hard boiled egg white.
60g nonfat cottage cheese
120g lean ham, water boiled.


Dinner:
400g Ling cod and rock sole baked with
130g defrozend midium firm tofu,
1 oat bran palette.


2.0 L pure water/

3hrs shopping walk.

Dukan Diet--day 24--pv day



Ok, it is now too late, I have to go to bed. after update my diet.

This morning on the scale I weighted 68.8kg, another small drop, which is good because today is my PV day, so I would asume the raise on the scale tomorrow, we'll see.


Brunch:
1 hard boiled egg white,
60g nonfat cottage cheese
120g lean ham


Dinner:
13 pieces of shirmp 41/51 counted,
150g clam meat
1 head of broccoli
4 sticks of asparagur
4 black funger
6 pieces of textured soy protein
2 white mushroom
30g red onion
3 hot green chili
some ginger and garlic
all cooked together.

2.5L pure water

2hrs of walking.

I may put on more detail tomorrow but now I am going to bed.

Dukan Diet Day 23--PP day


Good news!!!!
This morning, the number on the scale is 68.95.
Should I say again or DA-La? because this number has been on the scale once 4 days ago. Anyway, It is back, isn't it?

Breakfast:
2 spicied egg white.
50g nonfat cottage cheese
100g lean ham


Lunch:
1 spicied egg white,
30g lean ham.

Dinner:
250g Skillet oven fried Chinese style beef heart,with
140g defrozened midium firm tofu(bad choice)
1 oat bran palette made with 3 egg white.
2/3 preserved duck egg
1 hard boiled egg white.
The above didn't eat in the same time.

2.5 L pure water

2hrs walking with Mr.X.





It seens like that the rainning days will be back to Vancouver tomorrow and will last for at least 5 days. Too sad, we are planning to go a vineyard to pick up some fresh Oct grapes for the last wine.

The blueberry wine which was made in the old fashioned way: only fruit with no added yeast and other adjusment ingredients, is now matured at our small leftover bottle. Thanks to the patient Mr.X gives to waiting, it finaly has the time to reach it full taste. As I could say, it is better than the bottled wines and much better than those made from juice and concentrations and other added ingredient. I have to admit that it has never been oaked or whatever-ed. It just delicious. Not smooth as those you can buy at the store but with the super wild and stronge back after it flows down your throat.

Of course I didn't drink any of the blueberry wines, I am on dieting. Mr.X is almost wanting to drawn in the wine, he can not let it go when I finaly permitted his drinking, half glass a day. I just hope that he will obey my order.

My blueberry wine is made from fresh picked blueberries. I crushed them by using the hand immersion blender, a wonderful tool. After a long 2 and half month fermitation, It finally juiced by triper double layer cheese cloth. Every drop is preciou.

I will post the picture of my blueberry wine tomorrow, although there is only one bottle left already. I made only 3 bottles proximatly 3.2L wine from all the blueberries we had picked.

It worth it.

Dukan Diet--Day 22--PV day



Yes, yes, yes again, 69.35kg on the scale.
What happened on me?
I did not eat any abandunted food,
I do the exercise everyday,
and I didn't eat excede the limitation.

Things just getting out of expectation here.
Please, give me a little hope,
let me see the number drop tomorrow.
or I am the person who is resisting to any diet?!
That would be too sad and too unfair.


Breakfast:
2 spicy immersed egg white.
50g nonfat cottage cheese.
100g lean ham, water boiled

Lunch
1 spicy immersed egg white.


Dinner:
1 spicy immersed egg,
1 preserved duck egg,
250g Ling Cod baked with red onion, white mushrooms,hot green chili and
80g defrozened firm tofu.
1 oat bran palette.

2.5L pure water and Goji water.

3hrs walking.

Finger crossed for tomorrow.

Dukan Diet--Recipe of Chinese Style Oven Fried Pork Tongue


I just made this yesterday and it was sooooooo delicious. I am not sure whether it is suitable for any other people besides Asian people because it is very much spicy and hot. But hi, friend, why not give youself a try to the new discover?!

Preparation before real cook:
Any tongue( pork, calf, beef, you name them)
Wash throughly with flow water.
Boil water in a deep pan or pot,the water should can cover the tongue.
Let the tongue set in the boiling water and cook for 10 to 15min.
Remove the tongue from the boiling water and wash with cold running water until its surface cooled down to be handle.
Use knife to brush off the white membrane surface of the tongue, as clean as you can.
Now the tongue has been prepared.


Cook method:
Cut the tongue to desire slices( 0.2cm to 0.5cm thick)
Marinate with : (a pinch salt, 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 2 clove minced garlic, 1/6 medium red onion minced, minced fresh garlic-clove sized ginger, 2 pinchs of cumin seeds.2 pinchs of crushed dry red hot chili)  for 4-5 hours.
Preheat oven to 350F
Cut garlic stems into 1 inch long sticks, with cutted red onion and 2 hot green chili pepper.
Slice the defrozened firm tofu into 0.2 cm thick slice. ( Before using, just put the tofu in the frige at the frozen part for 1 day then defrozen it, you will have a very chewable cheese like firm puffy tofu )
Lay the tongue and the above cutted veggies on the cast iron skillet.
Cover the skillet with foli paper and cook for 40min.


Enjoy it. Be cautioned that it is sooooo hot. Even for me who comes from the place that having hot chili every meal.

I forgot to take the pictures but I will update it in the future when I make this dish again. It will not be too far....

Dukan Diet Day 21, PP day(kind of)


Another 69.35 appeared on my scale yesterday morning. This is the second time it showed. ( Should I mention that it appears the third time this morning!!!!) Weight gains so rapid and just in a blink while it lost like goes forever. I should say that I do felt upset about this. But hey, I would not let it beat me. The good thing is that I have already lost 3.7kg, although now the speed is not as fast as other dieters.

Breakfast:
1 hard boiled egg white.
50g nonfat cottage cheese
60g Lilydare cooked turkey breast.
70g lean ham.

Lunch:
1 hard boiled egg white.


Dinner:
1 pan baked pork tongue ( proximal 250g). This is soo chewable and deliiiiiiiicious.
80g defrozened firm tofu.
1 oat bran palette.

I will write another post to describe the way to cook and prepare the tongue.

2.7L pure water+ Goji immersed water.

1.5hr walking.

Dukan Diet, Day 20, PP day


Saddly, this morning the number appeared on my scale was 69.35. Although it was still 0.1 kg down of the day before yesterday, it has raised 0.4kg up from yesterday. This probably because of the huge eggplant I had ate yesterday and all the light soy sauce I put on the fish before serving.


Breakfast:
1 hard boiled egg white,
120g Lilydare cooked turkey breast.
60g nonfat cottage cheese.

Lunch:
100g skim milk jello

Dinner:
70g Lilydare cooked turkey breast,
2 preserved duck egg,
200g pan fried pork liver.


2.5L pure water.

3hr slow walk go and back from shopping.

This afternoon, Vancouver has faced an power outrage. It started at around 1500 finaly ended at around 2000. It was pretty scared when you stay at home and the light is off the sunlight is turnning dark. Somehow, the shops on the main road are all well powered without any interupt.

I had checked the website of BC Hydro. It updated resorted time postponed from 1700to 1730 to 1830 to1930. Finaly when the lights are suddenly on, all the peace mind back to me. However, before the lights return, I had beinged 2 preserved duck eggs and 60g turkey breast. I was just so starving after such a long walk with the desperite of having no warm food on hand.

It is not usual to have a power outrage at Vancouver especially that it is because of the " wile down".

Hope that I will see a happy number tomorrow.

Dukan Diet--Day 19--PV day


Yesterday morning, my weight on the scale was 68.95kg. At that time, I want to admit that my weight is always drop at the forth day of remaind the same weight for three days. Oops, this morning, this theory was broken.

I didn't have time to record yesterday, so I will catch it up this morning.


Breakfast:
1 hard boiled egg white and half york.
120g water boiled Lilydare seasoninged turkey breast.
60g nonfat cottage cheese.

Lunch:
1 hard boield egg.

Dinner:
350g Ling cod baked with 1 eggplant ( huge, over 1lbs)
No oat bran palette.
I was sooooo full so I can not think about take another palette. If so, my stomach will blow.

2.0L pure water.

1.5hrs slow walk at Stanley park. It is wonderful.
40min after dinner walk, again, I was so full. I have to have a walk before I can sit down.


The weather was awsome these recent days. Chiled sunshine. Not too low in tempreture. That would be too sad if we didn't get out to the outside, to the beautiful Vancouver autumn.

Yesterday afternoon, after a little shopping, we went to the Stanley Park at Downtown Vancouver. I choosed it for purpose. Half of the sea shore walking pathway is showered under the dawn sunlight. Smooth, gentle, golden sunlight.

Though it was very hard to find a free parking lot at downtown, but we managed to achive that. The walking is fantastic.

This morning, my weight reflect of what I have ate last night.

Dukan Diet Day 18, PP day 5


Today morning my weight is 69.45 kg. Again, this has been the third day the number of my weight remaind the same. May I expect a little drop tomorrow? Hope so.

Breakfast:
100g Lilydare cooked turkey breast, water boiled.
60g nonfat cottage cheese.

Lunch:
half piece of lean ham.
1 hard boiled egg.
1 preserved duck egg.


Dinner:
1 red corkeye fish probably 250g fish meat.
80g defrozened firm tofu
1 big oat bran palette.
4 shirmp out of the seafood fry rice I cooked for my Mr. X.

2.5L pure water.

1.5 hr slow walking at Queen Elizabeth park.

The autumn of Vancouver is just amazing, if without the endless rain. Today is another sunny autumn day. Who can resist of getting out for some activities?

We went to the Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver. It is around 5pm, but still there were lots of tourists. There are uphills and downhills. I suppose that it is a good exercise.



I finished my Lilydare cooked chicken breast yesterday and bring back the Lilydare cooked turkey breast along with turkey breat ham. They are both 1 kg in size. That should last for another two weeks.

Mr.X always shouting for hungery when he is do the exercise with me, just like kids. Today, he get an 200g Gadbely  almond and fruit dark chocolete as the reward. I envy him, why he keeps his weight for the recent 20 years without any change while he eat almost all the unhealth food--chips, chocolete, burgers. Hum, so unfair.

Dukan Diet Day 17, PP day 4


This morning, the number on the scale shows 69.45 KG, the same as yesterday. So I think I can expect an down jump maybe tomorrow.Somehow, I ate too much today although were pure protein.

Breakfast:
1 egg white
100g Lilydare seasoned chicken breast, water boiled
50 nonfat cottage cheese


Lunch
300g Chicken thighs pan fried without oil
80g defrozened firm tofu


Dinner(huge)
1 oat bran palette
(This time with the egg white be beaten to very firm foam. The palette turned out a moist cake. Hemmmm, not that delicious as a drier version)
400g rock sole
(Baked with onion, mushroom, hot chilli pepper, seasoned with hot red chilli sause, soy sauce. I may have eaten proximitely 40~50g onion or mushrooms or peppers.That kind of ruined the pp day.)
20g pan fried pork liver( at my friend's home)
  They are cooked with oil!!!! but they are deadly taste good.


2.0L water

2 hours of exercise go and back from the Price Mart Food.

I did the walk with Mr.X. It was very uncommon that he offered me the walk when we just getting up from the bed. Today is a sooooooo wonderful sunny day after almost 1 weeks of rainning days. It was comfe cold outside with warm and delicate sun shine. A perfect day for any exercise. On the other hand, I am almost finish my homemade yoghurt and run out of the skim milk. So, on the half of the walk which started from out of the Price mart food. Mr. X was carrieing the 4 Liter organic skim milk. Good Boy.

The organic Skim milk is almost twice of the price of the regular skim milk. $8.79CAD/4L. When I boiled the milk to make the yoghurt, the different of the quality was obviously. There is a some kind of waxy and plasticy membrane on the surface of the regular skim milk after it half cold from being boiled.However, there is no such membrane on the organic milk at all. I think I will stick to the organic milk for the rest of my life although it is such expensiver than the other. In the end, it worth it. My family is not a mega-milk-consumer. For 2 bottles a month, I think we can afford it.

On our walking, There are several cats on the road. There are more than 6 cats in one of the neighbors home. They are just adorable.I will try to post some of the pictures I took for them tomorrow because my computer can't read any SD Memory card which capacity is over 1GB. I have to wait Mr.X to email them to me after he read them on his computer.

 This little lovely heard my meow then came out from it's home. He goes straight to my leg but with a cool face.



This one followed us for 2 blocks until I felt a little worry about being consider a "cat thief". He must love my meow a lot.

Dukan Diet Day 16, PP Day 3

My weight at this morning is 69.45kg.

So it looks like my body has this pattern that it keeps the same weight for 3 days and then followed a down jump. Which is good since this would probably the fat combine with water loss.

In my experiment, now I saved the oat bran palette for after-dinner-dessert-desire which makes me the most full. I will keep this for few circle to see how it goes.

Breakfast
1 hard boiled egg white
50g nonfat cottage cheese
100g water boiled lilydare chicken breast

Lunch
300g pan fried boneless skinless chicken thigh cocked with
80g defrozened firm tofu

Dinner
250g Ling Cod
marrinated with sea salt and ginger, slice of lime, green onion
baked with onion, 4 small hot chilli
Oat bran palette.
1 preserved duck egg.

2.5L pure water

1hour of slow walk


Yesterday on my way home from walk exercise, there is lime on sale, 10 limes for 1 CAD. They are perfect for marrinating and seasoning. I even add few drops in my oat bran palette. Just test fresh and crispy.

Now a days, my biggest enermy againest my Dukan Diet is the desire of fruit. I am not attracted by the cake or any goodies but longing for fruit is almost kill me.

When I know that the cherries and the grapes are abandoned in Dukan diet even on the consolidation phase. I am so upset. They are the two of my favorite fruits. The Okanagan region of BC has the most sweet and delicious cherries in the world. This summer, on we back home from Banff, we passed through Princton.There is a valley on the roadside are all big cherries. It is like heaven on the earth. We purchased 20lbs of cherries and I finished them all in half month. Oh, how can I get ride of it.

Hope the number on the scale will still getting less tomorrow.

By the way, my peas shoots are growing fantastic. I can not wait for the pv days then I can have a whole bunch added on my salad. Emmmmm, fresh and crisp pea shoots. I fall in love with them when we had the dinner at Chante Lake Louise. Their Crossont with lobster meat has a layer of pea shoots. The pea shoots gives the dish a irresistable flavor.

Dukan Diet Day 15, PP day 2

This morning, the number on the scale remainded 69.75 kg. It has been the three days of the same number on my weight. Just in the pv days. I just hope that it will getting down on the fourth day as on those pv days.

Breakfast
1 and half lean ham.
50g nonfat cottage cheess.
1 egg white.

Lunch
half oat bran palette

Dinner
half oat bran palette
350g skin and bone off chicken thigh, pan fried without oil
     (marrinated with ginger, garlic, onion, basil, soy sauce, taste soooooooo good)
110g defrozened firm tofu. Pan fried with chicken thighs.
20g of dried grape.( Sigh....I just cruving for the sweet thing   and have digged the raisin out of cereal. Hope this will not ruined the whole diet. )

Liquid:
2.4L of pure boiled tapwater.

Exercise:
4 hours of walking at speed of 2.5miles/hr.

I am not a huge fan of sweet things, however, in the pp days, I always want something sweet in my mouth after a protein meal. Maybe tomorrow I will left the oat bran palette for those moment.

Dukan Diet Day 14, PP day 1

This morning, my weight remaind the same as yesterday: 69.75kg. Hope from today on, the number will get down more obviously.

Breakfast:
50g non fat dry crud cottage cheess.
1 piece of lean ham.
2 egg white.
1 preserved duck egg.( Yes, I am a traditional Chinese girl!!!)


Lunch:
1 oat bran palette. This looked so huge and satisfied.
( made by 2 tablespoon of oat bran
  2 egg white and 1 egg york plus
  3 tablespoons of homemade yoghurt,
  1/2 teaspoon of Splenda,
  1 drop of vanilla extract.)

Dinner:



250g Ling Cod marrinated with Balsamia vinger, sea salt and ginger baked with onion, ZiSu leaf, 3 small hot green chili pepper and 80g cube cutted defrozen firm tofu, seasoned with light soy sauce.I didn't eat any of the vegetables but they add a significant aroma to the fish and the tofu.

They are fantastic. I definitely will make this again and again. I am sure that my husband will love this dish very much too.

liquid: over 2.0L of pure boiled tapwater. I am thinking of add a water filter bottle to my crowed kitchen count. Hmmm, I will think about it. The drink tapwater is still pretty good with no warning from the government yet. So....

Exercise:
I walked from home to the Pricesmart food for the non fat cottage cheess. And then I realized since I always throw away the egg york which is a waste so why not go straight to the egg white then the whole eggs can leave to other dishes.The 500ml pure egg white costs only $2.99. I assume that it is just pure natural egg white. It is much cheaper than the whole egg without egg york. On the direction says 1 tablespoon can take the place of one egg white. The whole box of the egg white will be equal to 30 eggs' white. This is so eco.

This Price smart food is pretty close to the Famous food I usually go to for the organic staffs. Their nonfat cottage cheess is almost 1 dollar cheaper than the Famous food. It is even farer than the Famous food to my home.

This shopping ended with 2 hours walk at the speed of 3miles/hr. The exercise for today is qualified.

Vancouver moved into the typical autumn and winter, wet wet weeeet! Rainning rainning raaaaaining! Anyway, I will continue my walking even I have to carry an umbrella with me.

Dukan Diet Day 13, PV day 5


Finally, today I have been giving a little reward. This morning at 0915, my weight was 69.75kg. Yeah.

Breakfast:
1 piece of lean ham.
1 egg white.
50g nonfat cottage cheese.

Lunch:
50g lilydare chicken breast.
1 preserved duck egg.

Dinner:
8 sticks of asparager.
80g baby spring salad
1 egg white and half egg york.
120g lilydare chicken breast.
80g firm tofu
80g homemade yougert and spices as dressing.
50g  slow cocked  lean pork.


Night snacks:
Ovenbaked oat bran galette
Recipe:
1 egg white, beat to foam.
2 tablespoon homemade nonfat yorgurt.
1 drop of vanilla extrat.
2 table spoon oat bran.
Oven baked at 290F for 30 minutes.


This is a huge piece of galette, super full.


I walked at the speed of 4mile/hr for 1 hour and then slow pace walk for half hour.


Tomorrow I will start the pp days of the cruise phase for 5 days then move to the 1pv/1pp circle since this is what Dr. Dukan recommended.


Hope I still will see the number change tomorrow. I probably have ate too much today. We'll see.

Dukan Diet Day 12, PV day 4

Today is another protein and vegetable day. my weight remained 70.3kg. It has been on this number for 3 days. I don't know is this me or is it normal. The soup I ate for the last 2 days maybe a little bit too salty because I used the drainage of 4 crab meat cans as part of the water in the soup and they are salty. 


I just afraind of being the one that will never get ride of all the extra pounds. That is a nightmare.

Breakfast:
1 piece of lean ham, water boiled.
70g nonfat cottage cheese.

Lunch and dinner:
120g homemade yougert and 2 tablespoon oat bran.
5 stick of asparage, water boiled.
1 egg white
100g lilydare cocked chicken breast, water boiled.
70g firm tofu.
100g baby spring mix salad dressed with homemade yougert dressing.

Here I will introduce my vegetable shoots. I love the very tender and crispy taste of all kind of vegetables. Anyhow, all the baby vegetables and microgreens are extremely expensive. Since the theory of growing my own baby vegetable shoots are simply and easy to utilize. I decided to have them on hand right in my house. Unfortunately, we only rent a one bedroom suit with no patio or outdoor spaces. I have to grow them on the count of my kitchen. 


But they are just too easy to grow!!!


I didn't purchase any kind of seeds specificly for spourting. I just find all kind of berrys and seeds and peas and grains at the local grocery store. Even the organic ones are not that expensive if their outcomes are include in the calculate. Very tiny seeds can produce a huge bun of shoots or microgreens. 


For the best results, I find a local deal who sales organic baby blanket and kelp juice for sprouting with a very competetive price after I had tried using double layers of Bounty. I have to say that with baby blanket, the sprouting is getting much easier.

Here comes just a sample of the beautiful baby shoots.





Mustards, these babies are not come from organic original. I got them at the India grocery store for just $2.49/lbs! So that the offsprings of these seeds are not as good as those organic ones. However, I could not found any organic mustard on the stores which sales organic seeds. Anyway, the mustard teste just wasabi!!!! Tata, so ,a little amount of this shoots is enough for adding a great taste to the salad.

 Fenugreek. I have to admit that I have never ate any fenugreek in my life, either fresh or dryed. They looks like some small yellow stones when they are completely dry. I even doubt about their ability of gemination. These little "stones" turned out crazily active. Now they are still growing. I will have the first bite few days after.




Amaranth. Oh they are tiny. When they get soaked for 2 hours. They looked like tiny mini Jupiter. An transluent shinny globe with a hairy white ribbon round. They are normal amaranth, white. But when the geminating, they turned out pink, just like in the above picture. So girly pink. Pretty pink.


I love baby shoots. I definitely will post more pictures of them here later.

Dukan Diet Day 11, PV day 3

Now I am posting the dairy of today.

I waked up at 1030 and my weight is exactly the same as yesterday: 70.3kg. Since I know that the weight will be down slowly even regain some back during the protein and vegetable days, I do not feel anxiety or frustration.

Breakfast:
500ml leftover soup.
1/2 piece ham.

Lunch:
120g nonfat yougert with 2 tablespoon Oat bran

Dinner:
I ate a lot huge things for the dinner after our 3 hours walking.
500ml leftover soup.
1 preserved duck egg.
300g gai lan vegetable.
200g rock sole meat.
100ml soymilk.


             This is the half rock sole I cooked for us two tonight. It weighted 600g.

Oh I am so full now.

occasionally, my husband will go a long walking with me. We recently find out that the burnaby central park is a good destination for a long walk. Even better, the squirrels there are so cute and always begging for food when we passing by. I know that we are not suppose to feed them, but how can we don't?

Almost 8 days ago, just when I start my Dukan diet. I juiced all the blueberry wine out and had a bowl of blueberry leftovers. They smelt so wonderful with a hint of wine teste and a little bitter sweet. They were very dry and I thought they were perfect to be made in cookies. I did so with a little bit sugar and very few oil. However, my sweetteeth husband didn't like it. He loves goodies to be sweety and fatty. These cookies may fit those squirrels.



As we went to the Burnaby central park, we walked through all the little tails to meet those little creatures. As I wished, they all love my cookies!!!! I am so glad.

We went out at 1620 and reached home at 1940, so my exercise for today is good and exceed the request from Dr. Dukan. I felt so hungery and cold at the end of the walk.

So I will be here tomorrow night. Hope the number will change.

Dukan Diet, Day 10, PV Day 2

I started the Dukan Diet 11 days ago now I am on my 3rd pv day.
I should start this blog earlier from the very beginning of my Dukan diet. But ,anyway, I started it today. Yeah, this is still a good thing to do.

Honestly, I didn't weight my weight at the very first day. I just compare to the weight I took 16 days ago. which is almost 73kg. OMG! 

My attark phase lasted for 8 days. I didn't record it and I totally  unwilling to recall it. All I remember is chicken, fish, beef, and lean ham. Saddly, I didn't have a weight scale during my first 9days of Dukan diet. so I could not record the changes of my weight.


I purchased a "Thinner" brand body fat/hydration/bone mass/ muscle weight scale two days ago. Here we go. lets start records.


Yesterday was my Day 10, PV day 2. at 1100am, I weighted 70.3kg.


Breakfast:  
1 piece 100g lean ham, water boiled.
120g homemade nonfat youger +2 tablespoon oat  bran
1 egg white 


lunch and dinner
1/2 piece lean ham.
120g steamed fresh ling cod.
huge bowl of soup approximitely 500ml: mushroom, seawead, 7shirmps, 200g konnyaku cooked for 1500ml soup.

I didn't do an specific exercise yesterday. It was a rainning night again in Vancouver.  I count my day walking at Stevenston and at all the malls as exercise. I don't know is it sufficient or not. But, anyhow......


Yesterday we went to Stevenston fishport at Richmond. The fishman Hill was there sale fresh caught all kinds of fish. We have been his email customer for almost a year and everytime he back to the port will email us and we will be there for him. It was recently that I realized that I love Ling cod more than Pacific cod although it is more expensive than Pacific Cod. Still it is much cheaper than the Safeway or Pricemartfood. $4.5/lb for ling cod with 10% off over 10lbs. For email customer, 5lbs free fish with 15lbs purchaseing. this is a great deal. However, our friger is too small for the extra fish with all the lean meat I have bought from costco. So, we ended with 10lbs of Ling cod and rock sole.



When we were walking at Stevenston, I saw a film shooting. It is "Once upon a time". I just saw their ads at CTV.ca. The "Cameron"(hope I write it correctly) from "House", one of my favorite video, is there. Unfortunately, they are shooting indoor sence so that I did not have a chance to meet her. For other casting, I am not familiar with any of them.

I have saw at least 3 films shooting recently at Great Mainland of Vancouver, none of the stars I have seen. Shee...


I will leave my today's record for tonight. My weight didn't change this morning.


I have to control my weight, so I choose Dukan Diet

It has been a while since my last weighting. I knew that I had gain a lot of weight in these two years but I ignored it with purpose or without. I don't know, I think that was unconsciously that I knew how bad it is so my brain choose to not think about it. 

That was my sister in law pointed out that I looked unhealthy when she saw the picture I took at this summer when my husband and I went to Banff. All the puffy materials has centralized at my trunk area. That indicated  the increased risks of getting Diabetes and possibility of endocrinogenic disease.

finally when I weighted at the scale  at my doctors office. I was scarred. 162lbs! I have never been on this number in my life. That is horrible comparing to my height which is only 160cm. I knew that I have to change this. 


I used to be very good at hiking and climbing hills. But in these two years, I felt very tired and stressed when I was doing the sports. I knew that was the weight I had put on my body pulled me back of my performance. 


Recently, I read a lot of blogger they are on Dukan diet and have achieved a great results. Do not need to starving and with a mild exercise is the most attraction of Dukan diet. Yet, the result is consistent and obvious. 


I decide to give it a try. Anyway, if I am on another diet that need to exercise a lot I would be felt tired all the time and I know that no matter what diet I am going to be in I would not have that energe to any prolong exercise.


I agree with the theory of Dr. Dukan and I think that should work.


Now this blog is officially become a diet blog. I do not care who see it or not. I just want to record every step I take and then I will not forget anything at the end. 


I hope I will see the success at the final stage which is marked approximitely one year from now.
